A Super Hero

1. humor(in general) (Estados Unidos) A sense of humor, sentido del humor. Does someone know this sentence? Más ágil que una tortuga... más fuerte que un ratón... más noble que una lechuga... su escudo es un corazón? Hmmmm, I'll need my English/Spanish helper to unwind that one! More agile than a turtle, stronger than a mouse, nobler than lettuce, his emblem is a heart. Who has been a laugh symbol up to 30 years in Mexico? Si, si, si “El Chapulín Colorado” or in English it's the Red Grasshopper! This super hero of humor has "Antenitas de vinil" (Little vinyl antennae), "Chipote chillón" (Squeaky mallet), "Pastillas de chiquitolina" (Tinycyline pills) and “Chicharra paralizadora" (a Paralyzing horn). What many chicano's enjoy most is El Chapulin saying "¡Síganme los buenos!" (Good guys, follow my lead!)"Lo sospeché desde un principio" (I suspected it all along)and "Todos mis movimientos están friamente calculados" (All my movements are carefully premeditated) “Se aprovechan de mi nobleza" (They take advantage of my nobility) “Yo opino…" (In my opinion…) Spanish humor is very sophisticated to watch! The red grasshopper enters the scene and solves all the problemos. The funny is lost in translation, however, this gives me an understanding of the JOY in Mexico! El Chapulin Colorado is a television series, created and played by Roberto Gomez Bolaños, also known as Chespirito. A successful Mexican comedian and TV show producer, which made fun of our Batman, and Superman superhero shows. It was first aired in Mexico by the Televisa network in 1970.
